The girls cross country team traveled to ADM for their conference meet Tuesday. Four of the top nine teams in the state are in the Raccoon River Conference. The team placed 5th and just 10 points off the No. 8 ranked team in the state.
Juniors Maya Bergstrom and Marie Daggett earned first-team all-conference honors, placing 5th and 6th respectively.
The junior varsity placed 7th and saw several PRs from freshman Sophie Carney and seniors Cadence Sinclair and Maddie McFadden.
The team heads to Pella Wednesday for their state qualifying meet.
