The Wildcat girls cross country squad placed second at the RRC championships Oct. 11, the highest finish at the meet in school history.  Ballard, ranked No. 2 in 3A, won the team title.  Freshman Ainsley Erzen continued her unbeaten streak for the season with a 58-second victory in a new school record time of 18:33 to earn her first conference title.  Erzen's win makes it the third consecutive year that the Wildcats have had the individual champion.  Senior Megan Sievers, the two-time defending conference champion, closed out her RRC career with a fourth-place finish to earn all-conference honors for the fourth straight year.  Sophomore Ella Andersen and senior Jocelyn Haack also earned all-conference honors, placing 14th and 17th.  For Haack, this marks the second consecutive year that she has earned that status.  Freshman Mady Taylor ran a personal best to close out the team scoring for the Wildcats.
