Wildcats Finish Fourth in RRC Championships

The Carlisle cross country team ran at the Racoon River Conference Meet on October 11th.  The No. 7 ranked Varsity team placed 4th out of 8 teams.  No. 2 North Polk won the meet, with No. 4 Winterset and No. 6 Gilbert also finishing just ahead of the Cats. The team was led by 1st Team All-Conference runners Kamden Brown (6th) and Kael Streeter (11th).  Making 2nd Team All-Conference were Chase Gach (16th) and Logan Howard (19th).   Rounding out the Varsity 7 were Zach Streeter (23rd), Brody Roth (30th), and Ezra DeCleene (31st). 

The JV team repeated at RRC Champions.  It's a title they've held since 2014!  They were led by overall race champion Harrison Eighmy.  Just behind him was Lincoln Eighmy in 2nd place.  The Eighmy brothers were followed by fellow Top 12 finishers Raymond Birech (4th), Ben Imhoff (6th), and Talan Walstrom (11th).  Also in the Top 30 for the JV squad were Josh Lancaster (22nd), Ryan Rushing (27th), and Colton Waterhouse (28th)

The team will head to Pella on Oct.  19th to compete in the State Qualifying Meet.
