The Wildcat Boys ran at the 42nd Mike Carr Ballard Invitational on Sept. 12. The varsity race consisted of 12 ranked teams, including seven of the top-9 3A teams. The Cats finished 7th out of 22 teams, with only five points separating 4th-7th place. The squad was led by medalists Kael Streeter (13th) and Kamden Brown (25th). Those two were followed by Logan Howard (31st), Zach Streeter (34th), Brody Roth (37th), Ezra DeCleene (45th), and Harrison Eighmy (61st).
The JV Cats ran a great team race to place 2nd out of 18 teams! They were led by top-20 finishers Lincoln Eighmy (4th), Josh Lancaster (12th), and Talan Walstrom (16th). Following close behind were Chase Gach (21st), Raymond Birech (23rd), Ben Imhoff (24th), and Mattix Benefiel (35th).
The Wildcats will compete again in Indianola on Sept. 22.
