Wildcats Runners-Up at Grinnell Invitational

The Carlisle cross country team ran at the Grinnell Invitational on Sept. 6.  The No. 9 ranked varsity team placed 2nd out 10 teams.  No. 3 ranked Pella was the meet champion. The Cats were led by medalists Kael Streeter (7th), Kamden Brown (8th), and Brody Roth (14th).  Also placing in the top 25 were Logan Howard (16th), Ezra DeCleene (18th), Harrison Eighmy (19th), and Chase Gach (21st).  Six varsity runners ran their lifetime PRs in the race!

The JV team also placed 2nd out of 9 teams.  Pella was also the winner of that race.  The Wildcats were led by medalists Zach Streeter (3rd), Lincoln Eighmy (4th), and Mattix Benefield (8th).  Also in the top 25 for the squad were Talan Walstrom (12th), Raymond Birech (14th), Ben Imhoff (18th), Cole Waterhouse (22nd), and Jeremiah Dronet (23rd).  Eight runners ran their lifetime PR in the JV race!

The Wildcats compete again on Monday, Sept. 12th at the Ballard Invitational.
