The Carlisle varsity boys won the Grinnell Invitational on Sept. 7.  The Cats tied Williamsburg with 74 points, but won on the tiebreaker (6^th runner). Coming in third was Des Moines Christian with 80 points. 

Medaling for Carlisle were Chase Gach in 9^th, Brady Birkenholtz in 13^th, and Lincoln Eighmy in 15^th.  Rounding out the varsity seven were Mason Ramsey in 19^th, Zach Streeter in 20^th, Brayden Kessler in 24^th, and Kamden Brown in 29^th.

The JV boys recorded a perfect score en route to the JV team title with 15 points.  Williamsburg and Des Moines Christian tied for 2^nd with 78 points (Williamsburg won the tie breaker). The Cats grabbed 8 of the possible 10 medals, led by overall winner Logan Howard. Logan was followed by Raymond Birech in 2^nd, Mattix Benefiel in 3^rd, Brody Roth in 4^th, Ezra DeCleene in 5^th, Josh Lancaster in 7^th, Braedin Zondervan in 8^th, and Talan Walstrom in 10^th.
