The dance team started practice in July under the direction of new head coach Kaley Ihle. Ihle joings CHS as a family & consumer science teacher this fall. She is a Gilbert High School and Iowa State graduate who was active in cheer/dance and returns to Iowa after teaching in Houston for four years. The squad had their annual dance camp at the beginning of August (even though it looked a bit different) and received high accolades. Five dancers were named all-American en route to a superior trophy and the team secured an invitation to the national dance championships in January. Congrats girls!
