Carlisle has made the decision to safely conduct a baseball and softball season. Carlisle's consideration in making this decision included the ability to assure compliance with the guidelines set forth by the Governor's office, the Department of Education, the Department of Public Health, the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union and the Iowa High School Athletic Association. This unique situation will provide guidance for future activities, returning to school options, and any other school-related activities in which our students are involved. It is vital that we adhere to these procedures for the health and safety of all those involved. Failure to do so will be a detriment to future Carlisle events.
At Carlisle, safety is our first priority. As we work to create the safest possible environment, we ask for your complete cooperation. All students and fans will be required to follow our new policies and procedures, or be asked to leave the premises for that day. We simply need everyone's cooperation to make the season a success.
The Raccoon River Conference schools will compete in freshmen, JV and varsity level baseball and softball. Practices for all teams begin Monday, June 1st. Games begin the week of June 15th. You may find an updated schedule at raccoonriverconference.org
Guidelines for all players and spectators can be found by clicking HERE.
Please be respectful of all players, coaches, umpires and spectators as we undertake the summer season. The following mitigation efforts are required to help ensure player, coach, umpire and spectator safety during games and practices.
We appreciate your cooperation.
